Hogan Sampling		20 Jun 2026	4th beer of this visit: Presented with a very good head and lasting lacing. With its chocolatey brown hue giving it the appearance of a copper-coloured bitter, it had a dry hoppy first bite. A bitter maltiness rising with hints of dark chocolate, caramel and coffee from its roasted blend of Crystal, Brown, and Chocolate malts. A fruited finish with touches of tangerines and orange from its German Mandarina Bavaria hops; its English Phoenix hops lending a traditional bitterness on its final descent. Served in top condition.
