Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

CharlesAcceptable05 Jul 2009 Tasted ok. Quite hoppy but overly creamy head. WOndering what they put in to make it like this always puts me off my pint.
CharlesAcceptable26 Feb 2006 Notes say this is flavoursome but mine was at best "thin" - maybe I was just having a bad day. This is organic but I'm sure they must put something in it to make such a creamy head. I was driving so only had one pint but as I was disappointed with the beer I didn't mind. I've tried their beer in the past and remember it being much tastier than this.

IanPoor27 Jan 2008 Gold with thin white head. I've had this in the Way Lade Inn, just outside of Callander and remembering I liked it. This is a caramel/toffee light bitter, with very light hop presence. It's a dullish, caramel bitter with very light hop finishing bite. Not really to my taste.
