Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

DubbelGood15 Jul 2009 This went down well with both the male and female contingent alike. Light and airy with lager malt flavours. It's never been my favourite beer though, I must admit.

LeighGood13 Jun 2009 Paler offering from Everards - with an almondy malt backbone and a fruity finish. A little flat, but decent nontheless. Would choose again.

JeffnJoAcceptable16 May 2009 Crystal clear light ale well served but one dimensional, lacking complexity of flavour. More like a 3.4

IanGood30 Aug 2005 Pale gold colour, blond citrus hoppy beer. Although not a lot of aroma this is a nice beer with burst of lemony hops on the finish. Refreshing and easy drinking but needs a bit more character

The Nags Head, Lyme Regis, Dorset

WhoScoreWhenNotes
AndrewGood30 Jul 2005 Very pale yellow beer with virtually no taste in the mouth at all. There was a subtle citrus flavour present but I had to search to find it. However, the beers character comes out on the finish which is agressively hoppy. This was a very interesting beer to try.

Everards (see entries against Joule's & Robinsons from now on) Sunchaser

4.00% ABV.

Produced using lager malt, and Hallertau lager hops, Sunchaser has a pale colour. Prior to conditioning, Saaz premium dry hops are added which enhance the product with overtones of a delicate spice and peppery nature, complementing the main palate features of rounded sweetness, with hints of peach and lychees.

We have tried this beer 20 times.

We have given this beer an average score of Good to Excellent.
