IanAcceptable25 Apr 2009 Copper/amber colour, lasting beige head. Very malty bitter. Decent fruit. Like all 1648 beers, well made, decent bitter.

BlairGood16 Aug 2008 In a blind tasting I would have sworn this was Incubus. Obviously that's not a bad thing as Incubus is lovely. Really malty with a biscuity flavour as well.

The Yew Tree Inn, Barfrestone, Kent

AndrewGood23 Apr 2006 As far as I could tell this was 1648 Ginger Nol without the ginger. A glowing caramel brown colour with a malty body and a raw cain sugar bitterness
