AndrewGood03 May 2007 Ruby brown beer with a sweet-bitter start and a slightly toasted malt finish. A good session bitter well served.

IanAcceptable25 Jan 2007 Amber, thin off white head. Nettle/herb/earthy hop aroma, some yeast. Some fruity malt in mouth, battles the slightly eggy yeast. A little hard juiciness before developing into a lemon wine gummy juicy finish with an ultimately dry tingly hop finish. Not as good as the Deuchars.

The George, Bethersden, Kent

IanPoor29 Jul 2006 Amber colour, slightly hazy. No head. Sweetish malt/hop aroma. More fruity malt than hop. Not overly impressed. Bit of rubber on the malt. Poor bitter, slightly citric/lemoney and edgey.
