Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Jack WilliamGood27 Apr 2017 I'm getting a hint of peach and a good after-bite. The locals aren't keen on it but I like it.

Bear & Ragged StaffGood30 Jun 2013 So difficult to find a good example of this beer - this was good. Nevertheless, there are so many good beers of this genre around, it takes that special something to elevate it to a higher level. Great condition and presentation but there are better beers of this type around.

Jolly Farmer, Dronfield, Derbyshire

Stephen HarrisGood01 Apr 2013 After I had been here half an hour, this beer was pulled through. Pale and quite sweet, with some citrus hop flavours.

The Little Gem, Aylesford, Kent

IanExcellent20 Aug 2005 Pale gold, thin white head. Typical blond citrus hoppy beer, bit soapy to start and apparently on the way out according to the barman, but I thought this was excellent. Nice gooseberry, grapefruit and nettle hop aromas with more floral hop later. Excellent, with some yeast in the aroma too
