IanExcellent27 Jan 2007 So I was drinking a bit of history. Hazy ruby colour with disappearing beige head. Classic barley wine. Dark fruits in mouth bit of coffee/choc. Dry malt develops in mouth. Wonderful powdery dry malt. Very raisiny aroma. Was it worth the £14 train fare and half an hour on a packed tube train? You betcha! Very very rich raisiny coffee develops. Tart finish that is really quite sharp.
