Vacuous Excellent15 May 2015 Weighty, malty thing with a powerful hop attack in time to stop it becoming annoyingly cloying. Evidence of alchol content apparent. Entertained my palate, so had a couple.

Jack WilliamExcellent12 May 2015 A complex beer - I'm getting bitter toffee notes - very nice.

Jack WilliamExcellent07 May 2014 I like a blond hoppy beer ideally - and this was malty and ruby coloured - but what flavour and bite. Straight from the barrel on the bar - full of flavours, a bit more life and it would have rated exceptional.

IanGood05 Apr 2007 I ended up talking to Eddie Gadd about this beer on the Saturday of the Planet Thanet BF. He said that when he put it in barrels, it was so bitter it made his eyes water but that he was really happy with how the hops had softened and how the beer finally turned out. It's an amber beer with thin beige head. English hop aroma, little bit of cheddar cheese. Malts are reasonably juicy and then lovely floral hop gives a lasting finish.
