IanExceptional19 Jun 2010 Perfect condition, amazing toast on aroma and finish, but the fruit on the swallow was stunning. Ended up alternating between this and the Goachers Old.

RayExcellent04 Jun 2010 4.1/2*. Dark amber, booming resinous, fruity hops with long satisfying finish.
McGargleExcellent18 Apr 2010 Looked great - dark amber with long lasting light tan head. A warming ale with an initial fruity burst built on biscuit base. Intense hoppy finish.

IanExcellent09 Nov 2007 Even though I got just about the last of the barrel, this was excellent. Great American hops on the end.

Coastguard, St Margaret's at Cliffe, Kent

WhoScoreWhenNotes
IanPoor07 Nov 2007 Full of diacetyl. Shame as the condition and hops on finish were excellent.

The Wenlock Arms, Hoxton, Central London

IanGood09 Jun 2007 Chestnut with lasting beige head. Malty premium beer. Earthy hop aroma. Really good ESB, plenty of dark/’red fruits. Good malts, nice biting hop on end. Excellent.
