IanGood26 Feb 2009 Pale chestnut colour, thin beige head. Lovely roasty toasty bitter. After not having a dark bitter in ages, I've had a few recently. Very good rich roasty toasty malts. Good beer. Tasty.

The Fat Cat, Norwich, Norfolk

BlairAcceptable22 Nov 2008 Not fantastic in my opinion, in fact fairly ordinary. Dark ad sweet. Not much else.

Great British Beer Festival 2007, Earl's Court, Central London

IanGood09 Aug 2007 Dark ruby. Some dark fruit and malt on aroma. Actually some very nice fruits. Plums, some raspberry. Juicy, very light prickly hop on end. Just a little light on intensity. Enormously fruity and enjoyalbe mild though. Good character. The balance of fruit and hop works well. Not overly roasted malt.
