IanExcellent02 Jan 2008 Very very dark brown, thick beige head. Thick, dark, slightly sour and entirely wonderful. A bit bready maybe. Some liquorice, some dry malt. Interesting, proper old ale. Some sting on finish. That hollow, sour flavour is wonderful. Great condition. Perfect for a windy Liverpool winter’s day. Very wide mouthfeel and a gingerish side to the hop. Entirely wonderful.
