DubbelExcellent18 Nov 2008 Outstanding black and sultry bitter roasted stout. Pronounced oaty palate rounded off with a classic dry, grassy finish. Top conditioning from what has become a very good JDW outlet for ale. A second pint was a must!

Cornfield Garage, Eastbourne, East Sussex

AndrewAcceptable14 Nov 2008 Dusty tasting beer.
IanAcceptable14 Nov 2008 Not as good as the first time I had it at Tonbridge. More a normal plain stout.

The Humphrey Bean, Tonbridge, Kent

IanGood09 Nov 2008 Black, ruby edges, thick creamy beige head. Decent creamy stout with blackberry flavours. It's reasonably tasty, more a cream stout than a dry roasted one. Creamy and rather good. Some hop bitterness on finish.
