Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanGood29 Apr 2009 Very drnkable ESB style beer.
IanGood16 Apr 2009 Very dark brown with lasting beige head. It’s a bit like an ESB/Dark ale, some toasty roasty malts. Some decent fruits. Some ok hop. Nice coffee hints. I like the malts and fruit.

The Edmund Halley, Lee Green, Greater London

Horse & Guardsman (formerly Spoons under the water; The Lord Moon of the Mall), Whitehall, Central London

DubbelGood22 Apr 2009 Deep, dark choc roastiness. Rich and satisfying.

The Ledger Building, Docklands & Isle of Dogs, Greater London

DubbelGood19 Apr 2009 Toasty malts, bitter liquorice finish. Not wholly dissimilar to Sneck Lifter I thought.
