Philip PirripPoor04 Aug 2015 This time from downstairs. Light frothy head but definite acetic smell and taste came through. Nothing like the superb one upstairs. How odd when both came from same cask with a splitter in line. Manageress was most concerned
Philip PirripExcellent04 Aug 2015 From the upstairs bar. Actually very little D&B to note

Stephen HarrisGood24 Jul 2015 A very dark ruby-red colour. Served with a big, thick head. A burnt toast roastiness dominates, but dandelion and burdock (D&B) flavours do come through.

IanGood30 Apr 2009 Very very dark brown. Quite lasting beige head. Vinous dark fruity aroma. A little rubbery maybe. Good blackberry blackcurrant fruit throughout. A bit of tar, but I like the cab sauv qualities.
