| Ian |  | 30 Nov 2007 | Woody is my first reaction. Certainly strong in ABV. Woody spicey aroma, oily old ale feel in mouth, hot apple peel flavour on end. Some bitter dark choc. Oily texture suits it. Long finish. Not unpleasant, but certainly unusual. |

St Peter's Spiced Ale

Dark beer. Slight smell of liquorice and malt. Sickly fruity liquorice taste. If you like it then you'll love it, otherwise it is just a bit of an oddity.
