Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanAcceptable16 Sep 2009 I so want to give this a higher score just because of the difference in it being a sheps micro beer. Has too much mild cheddar cheese though along with some decent hop and some biscuit to make me want another. Love to know what the brewer's intention was in doing this. Bizarre and odd but the late red was much better than this.

The White Lion, Selling, Kent

Martin the MildmanAcceptable08 Sep 2009 Not golden but copper coloured. Dominated by crystal malt, drowning out any other flavours. My score 13/20.
