Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

WhoScoreWhenNotes
IanPoor20 May 2006 Ruby brown colour with thin off white head. Toffe and liquorice on aroma and in mouth. Some powdery choc/coffee towards the end. Could be affected by diacetyl, also served too cold. Alternatively it is a toffee/liquorice dark porter style beer. Not great like this though

The Market Porter, Southwark, Central London
