AlenomoreExceptional30 Dec 2011 One of Weltons best ales. Gave it a 5* as it's an excellent, strong stout, full name, Broadwood Wassail. This might be different to or a variation of the original Wassail.

IanAcceptable23 Jan 2010 Very dark brown, lasting creamy head. Traditionally this was made with honey. there may be some sweetness here from honey but just as easy it could come from the alcohol. Certainly a warm heat here. This is ok. solid winter warmer. Alcohol is a little raw on finish. It's a decent strong ale, not huge hops anywhere. Just a little sweet maybe.
