IanAcceptable27 Jan 2011 Good darkish bitter, but not quite as good as some pints of this I've had.

Cherry Tree, Canterbury, Kent

IanExcellent08 Oct 2010 Good dark roasted toasted malts, good condition and my favourite of the Wantsum beers I've had.
AndrewExcellent08 Oct 2010 Good condition. My comments on this beer say, "Toasted roasted pig beer". Not sure what that means but I know I really liked the beer.

AlenomoreExceptional03 Apr 2010 On the main bar here and in top codition. Very nice and sampled twice.

The Dolphin, Canterbury, Kent

IanAcceptable20 Mar 2010 Brown with thin off white head. OK bitter, some yeast and odd lemon on aroma. Fine, ok earthy bitter. Could do with some more hop on the end. Finish is really quite malty.

The Parrot (Young's), Canterbury, Kent

ChrisEExcellent03 Feb 2010
BrianGood29 Jan 2010 The Parrot seems to be supplying Wantsum ales pretty regularly amd I've been impressed with what I've tried. This was, however, a bit one dimensional. It's mid brown, with a bubbly, soap-sud head. Big sherbert hit of hops in the mouth, quite sour and nettley. Not much depth, no real balance. Not bad though, not as good as the Black Pig from a few weeks ago.
