Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Magnus GreelExcellent24 Jul 2018 Perfectly chilled and carbonated, a proper English bitter but lacking the sweet malty flavour IMO as it should be.

Wye Valley Bitter

3.70% ABV.

A classic example of an English bitter beer. Chestnut coloured with a rich white head, delicate hop aroma, malty fullness ending with a crisp bitter finish. Ingredients: Pale malt, Wheat and Crystal malt; English Target and Goldings hops..

We have tried this beer 8 times.

We have given this beer an average score of Acceptable to Good.
