IanGood18 Apr 2010 Certainly a good looking beer. Some very good fruit in the mouth red and dark fruits. Malts are quite sweet too. Not much like Uerige fresh or a couple of the others, as this is a bit fuller than something like the Schlossel. But overall it’s a tasty fullish sweetish malty beer with some dryness on the finsih. Would I pick this as an Alt in a blind tasting? Probably not, more a malt led best bitter. Drinkable enough though.

Martin the MildmanExcellent10 Apr 2010 Very pleasant copper coloured strong bitter with a very smooth, well rounded character with good malt and hop flavours. Slightly dry in the finish. My score 16/20.
