These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Bear & Ragged StaffGood04 Feb 2012 A darker beer with a very odd opening, some vanilla and something else (oddly nice), all leading to a pleasant bitterness. All's well that ends well!

RayPoor01 Feb 2012 Dark, ruby red with solid white head. Some fruits on the nose but unbalanced in the mouth with no clear focus. Tried in bottle later in the evening and it was different and, much better, beer. Well balanced, plenty of dark fruits and juicy malt.
