These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

WhoScoreWhenNotes
IanAcceptable25 Jan 2009 Diacetyl buttery aroma, which I tried to convince myself was caramel. Good condition and at £1.29 a pint I couldn't really complain. I had a few so it couldn't have been that bad.
IanAcceptable25 Jan 2006 Deep chestnut with creamy head. Yeasty nose, some nice dark malts in mouth. Finish is quite soft with some tingly hops. Needs more body and backbone but drinkable enough
