Planet Thanet Easter Beer Festival 2007, Margate, Kent

IanExcellent07 Apr 2007 Very dark ruby colour with disappearing beige head. Tarry blackcurrant is intense. Chewy in mouth, verges on tarry molasses, but the fruit keeps it in check. Great integrated alcohol, gives body without dominating. Fruit and dates and blackberry are very good. Oddly refreshing.

White Cliffs Beer Festival 2006, Dover, Kent

BrianAcceptable04 Feb 2006 Pretty fierce brew, a bit harsh in the aftertaste but OK.
AndrewExcellent03 Feb 2006 Dark beer with burnt mollases followed by soft sweetness.
