Martin the MildmanAcceptable01 Oct 2011 Brewed to 6.0% for this rare outing of a cult beer originally brewed in Yorkshire. Rather strange liquorice flavour superimposed on a rather sour tasting stout base. Not to everyone's taste. My score 12/20.

The Anderson, Fortrose, Highland

McGargleExcellent03 Aug 2010 Fine, full bodied stout. Enticing roasty aroma carried through to the taste. Hints of liquorice and dry finish. Excellent 'digestif'.
