Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

ChrisEAcceptable08 Mar 2011 None of us had ever seen this beer before, it is a re-creation of a brew from the 1940s and the days of food rationing. We were all of the opinion that this cask was slightly on the turn, otherwise a tasty copper coloured session ale.

Martin the MildmanAcceptable01 Mar 2011 Probably the most bitter Harvey's beer I have drunk. Rather thin with no real body to back up the bitterness. My score 14/20.
