Very busy but more restrained than the town centre pubs. I liked it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Boltmaker (formerly Best Bitter)4.00ExcellentClassic thirst quencher.
Cloudwater - Pale3.70GoodNot sure of the abv but this was a subtley crafted, easy drinking pale ale.
Cloudwater - DIPA V10.10.00GoodSmooth drinking but packing a punch from both the abv and hops. Tropical fruits, some sweetness and a good malt foundation. 4*?

Quiet beer bar situated in Headingley. Thankfully free of students, even on a night. Downstairs seating area below mezzanine, and dogs welcome. Beer always changing, but the likes of Black Sheep and TT Landlord usually on. Global beers in the fridge, and Kaltenberg Hell lager on draught. Food served. Pleasant, knowledgable staff.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Durham - White Amarillo4.10ExceptionalA wgreat beer when on form. Pale in colour, and single hopped with fragrant Amarillo hops, this is a decent example of how a refreshing, pale session beer can be.
Vale - Wychert3.90GoodBonfire Tofee in the body and a tight creamy head. Moreish with more earthy hoppiness than anything else. Solid, decent pint for a cold day.
Eastwood & Sanders - Nettlethrasher4.40GoodDark amber colour, with a creamy head. Very bitter and hoppy, particulary at the end. Plesant enough.
Abbeydale - Matins3.60GoodVery pale, but easy to drink and nicely hopped. A lighter beer.
