Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale)4.20Good
Marston's - Pedigree4.50PoorWhat has been done to this once fine beer? Almost tasteless.

Mid Sunday evening - I think there were some in the restaurant but the bar was empty. Five staff idling around did not add to the ambience - nor did the two out of three pump clips turned round - although these did come on later after the pipes were cleaned (rinsed through?) for about 10 minutes.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brains - The Rev James Original4.50AcceptableGood condition and a pleasant enough maltiness - but lacked body for a 4.5 in my view.

Popped in with some work buddies for a quick half at lunch. Fairly busy with folk having lunch.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - Southwold Bitter3.70AcceptableBit tired with a slighly stale maltmarmite bite to it. Drinkable though.

Came at lunch time and had a half. Sat in the garden at the rear with lots of other office workers and some kids. Nice view of carpark
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale)4.20AcceptableStarted off well with plenty of bitterness well complemented by the hops but dropped off to a kind of warm bath water.

Friday lunch time and it was full of groups of office workers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - Southwold Bitter3.70GoodToo cold but at least it had that fresh hoppy malt combination that characterised Adnams of old.
