Friday evening 2025 hours. Could find no way in. Front door locked and lights off. A peek through the window showed furniture stacked up in the room to the right of the entrance.

Revitalised family run brewery tied house in Market Place, now with emphasis on real ale. 7 of the brewery's products are now on handpump. Good quality and value food on offer too. Closed 2011 and mothballed in 2012. In January 2020 the brewery announced a £400,000 refurbishment with planned re-opening later in 2020.
