Friday evening 2025 hours. Could find no way in. Front door locked and lights off. A peek through the window showed furniture stacked up in the room to the right of the entrance.

Quite a lot of passing trade plus a few regulars in on a Saturday lunchtime.

The pub is found in Stockport, Greater Manchester, SK1 1EW.
Revitalised family run brewery tied house in Market Place, now with emphasis on real ale. 7 of the brewery's products are now on handpump. Good quality and value food on offer too. Closed 2011 and mothballed in 2012. In January 2020 the brewery announced a £400,000 refurbishment with planned re-opening later in 2020.
