First beer festival for this renovated corn mill in River. 23 real ales on plus a couple of real ciders. Beers mostly from Kent inlcuding Goachers, Hopdaemon, Larkins, Nelson, Gadds, Shepherd Neame and Westerham plus guests from Norfolk, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Sussex, Suffolk and Wiltshire. Was one of the first ones to try the beer.

Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original)4.10ExceptionalBadged as Best Dark Ale. Dark brown beer. Grainy roasted matl nose, full in mouth with chocolate and caramel malts leading to dry malty finish. Superb dark ale
Woodforde's - Wherry3.80ExcellentAmber beer. Flowery hoppy nose, good hops and acidity, flowery hop finish. This was top of the barrel and just as this session beer should beer.
Larkins - Best Bitter4.40ExcellentVery good example of a best bitter. Good balance of malt and hops and well constructed with good flavours
Hopdaemon - Golden Braid3.70GoodBlond session beer. Not as hoppy as it can be, but still has some nice citrus notes
