Beer festival here with 20 jacket cooled ales in the rear courtyard. Hog roast and live music added to the occasion. Best of the 4 pub festivals I visited on this day.
BeerABVScoreNotes
York (now brewed by and at Black Sheep) - Centurion's Ghost Ale5.40ExcellentA complex strong dark beer, like a strong mild with toffee malt flavours and a little hoppiness. Full bodied and rich tasting. My score 16/20.

The pub is found in Mark Cross, East Sussex, TN6 3NP.

Rejuvenated village local in Wadhurst Road, that has seen a major refurbishment, giving a modern feel to a traditional pub. High emphasis on food but still with a pub feel. Taken over by Elite Pubs in early 2021 with a change of name too.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
