Evening's last west London haunt before launch off back to central. Well packed here and a friendly feel behind the bar and this side too.

I’m dropped back in London after an excellent weekend away in (mostly) Gloucestershire. In here for some refreshment and a look at the Wetherspoon beer festival list.

Adnams - Sixpoint Bengali (previously Bengali Tiger)6.40ExcellentI love this beer from a can. Even better it seems in cask when brewed at Adnam’s.
Hook Norton - Fat Head's Yakima Sun5.00ExcellentExcellent, full-bodied Bitter. US hops shine through. Long bitter finish.
Marston's - Revisionist Green Hop Beer4.50GoodGood, fresh-tasting green hop beer.

Busy with Saturday afternoon diners and drinkers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Moonraker6.50ExcellentStrong black winter warmer type ale, reduced in strength but none the worse for it. Rich and full bodied with sweet toffee and dried fruit flavours rounded off with a fruity finish. My score 16/20.

For a Lloyds No. 1 bar I thought that it had a decent selection of guest ales. Fairly typical fairly souless 'Spoons.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Triple fff - Bitter End2.70AcceptableCopper, lasting beige head. Some malt biscuit some hop on finish. Not bad for a 2.7% boys bitter but lacking something in the middle like some malt on the swallow. Bit acidic on finish too.
