The public bar was being used for a darts match, also there were no pumps of any kind on the bar, so I ventured in to the saloon (or lounge) which I had to myself.

The pub is found in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE30 1EG.
On Tynemouth Road, former local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year twice but will have to work to regain place among the best real ale pubs. Change of name to Victoria. Very much a community pub with darts teams. Regular live music.
We have visited this pub 20 times, seen 15 different beers and tried them all.
