16:30 and a good crowd in. I note, some 5 years since my last visit, and I've stayed in the Wetherlodge too. Usual fayre, and all 10 ales on àt £2.50 a pint.

Large pub in Bennetts Hill, with a side entrance leading to the attached Wetherlodge (The Briar Rose Hotel) in the centre of Birmingham. There is also an internal door to the hotel reception inside the pub. Usually has good range of beers available through 10 handpumps which are in 2 banks, each of 5.
