Saturday from 12:00 for a joint retirement do and absolutely packed in both bars. I have only listed the beers that were available in the bar in which I sat, others were available in the other bar. Camra discount brought the beers down to a very acceptable £2.70 per pint.

Evening's last stop. Quiet apart from one active poker table. Annoying that 10% CAMRA discount was not proferred.

Bad weather has disrupted the East Coast trains and I find I have time for a swift final beer in here. Pub much smartened up since my last visit. But I realise after a while that I am the only customer at what should be a peak early evening time.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cross Bay - Spectrum3.90AcceptableAmber-coloured. Rather too malty for me.

Glentworth - Heaven's Gate4.10AcceptableGolden with very dry, harsh citrus hop character and no other balance. Not my style of beer really, but they are popular locally. My score 13/20.

The pub is found in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN1 3AA.

Basic large corner pub close to the railway station. At one time was a regular outlet for Glentworth beers but not anymore. Holds regular live music gigs. Upstairs has a bar and stage that can hold up to 200 people standing - large indeed. Now operated by Doncaster Council Conferences, Catering and Events!!

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 13 different beers and tried 5 of them.
