I chose this pub for its TV screens and it was a good place after work to watch the dramatic last few overs of England’s 20:20 victory over Pakistan. Quite busy, with almost everybody glued to the TV screens.

I had 50 mins inbetween arrving at St Pancras and catching my train to Liverpool from Euston, so I took the opportunity to stop off here to see if any special Sheps beers were on. Odd I chose this over the Euston Flyer. Wow I chose a Sheps pub, must be something wrong with me. Not very busy at 11.30 in the morning.

Shepherd Neame - Kent's Best4.10GoodMy god, this had hops, both on the aroma and on the finish. Still a bit sweet and cloying on the malts, but this was pretty good stuff.

I came in search of the Sheps Christmas Ale on cask and didn't find it, but pleased to find this pub. Nice enough pub and I might find myself in here again having a quick pint on my way to some train station somewhere.
