It's been something like 20 years since I've been in this pub and it hasn't changed much. Memories came flooding back as I walked down the slope and steps into the pub. Used to drink Carling Black Label in here.

Liverpool Organic - King John's Ale3.90ExcellentDark ruby colour, lasting beige head. Using the old Grand Union kit I think. Lovely proper dark mild. Good choc, lovely mouthfeel, full, milk choc, but good milk choc. Leaves a dryish finish. Very good beer.
