Mid afternoon and just started raining. No food today which was disappointing. We had a few beers and a bag of crisps and then moved on when our seating area was required to make space for a band that were expected in a couple of hours time. A pity because I was looking forward to trying some muzzleloader.

This pub is now free of tie and the prices have been reduced considerably as the tenants can buy direct from breweries of their choice. It closed for about three weeks and the locals lost their case for it to be listed as an Asset of Community Value so it was a welcome surprise to see it re-open under the same management as when the pub was owned by Enterprise Inns, lets hope that it is successful.
