Late Friday afternoon and there is a steady trickle of after-workers coming in to this lovely pub. In fact I think it is the first time I have seen any other customers here in my three or four visits. The pub is now leased by Thornbridge Brewery.

This was my first visit to this pub, I chose this pub because it is listed on the CAMRA National Inventory of pubs with unspoilt interiors, and I was very impressed. There was only one other customer in the pub at the time, but I am sure that this place gets busy in the evenings.
