Visits Details

28 Sep 2010 (ChrisE)
My first visit to this place as I have only recently acquired a CIU Affiliation card, there were a few regulars in the bar, and we enjoyed a pint in here before heading towards the railway station. I was impressed by the display of Fremlins elephants.

A first visit for there first beer festival. 15 Kentish Ales on offer from a stillage set up in an air cond' room. A good local crowd and many local Camra members turned out to give there support. Barbecued food on offer and all enjoyed the sun in the large beer garden. A great way to spend this sunny Saturday afternoon. All ales served in tip top condition. Well done to one and all involved. Hope they do this again.
