Food served, and smoking area at rear beer garden. Seating outside for summer eating and drinking. Large pub, with low ceilings and vintage features. Extensive food menu, no tv, no music, children welcome. Tetleys and Old Speckled Hen as regular real ales, with two rotating guests. Friendly staff.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Batemans - Spring Goddess4.20GoodPale, straw-coloured ale, served just a little too cold. Zesty, sherbety fruit flavours. Good on a hot day.
Adnams - Southwold Bitter3.70GoodStandard but solid best bitter, copper in colour and with a deep toffee note in the body. Again, served a little too cold but very easy to drink.
