Visits Details

05 Jun 2010 (Alenomore)
The Fleetdown Community Centre's second charity beer festival. A good crowd and balmy weather today. 26 quality ales and a few ciders on offer. Visiting Dartford today with the top barman from my local, the Swan, and a good day out it was as well!

The Beer Festival is found in Dartford, Kent, DA2 6JZ.

The Fleetdown Community Centre, on the Fleet Estate, Swaledale Road, just outside Dartford town centre, was the original venue for the very first Dartford Firemens Beer Festival. This then moved to Central Park where it was a huge success for several years. It then packed up for a few years and moved back here in 2009. The festival now has around 30 ales and a few ciders on offer. The beer order was courtesy of Nick Byram of the Working Mens Club. This is a spacious venue with a garden and barbecue.

We have visited this Beer Festival once, seen 26 different beers and tried 10 of them.
