In here for an early quick one and the pub is crowded, with a queue forming to order beer. There is a reason for this, as a football match at Vale of Leithen FC is due to kick off at noon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Traquair House - Bear Ale5.00GoodA decent, strong, amber-coloured, malty ale with a fruity hop finish. Went down very well.

Really busy but could escape to the beer gardens at either the front or back. Friendly staff and customers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Traquair House - Stuart Ale4.50AcceptableStandard dark brown Scottish 'Heavy'. Plenty of peaty malt and, as expected, light on the hops.
