Busy early on a Thursday evening.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Banks's - Young's London Original (was Bitter) - previously brewed in Bedford and at Wychwood3.70GoodGood malty base, far maltier then when brewed at Wandsworth. The hop character is subtle, but present nonetheless. A good quaffing bitter. My score 15/20.
Eagle (formerly Wells & Young's, formerly Charles Wells, formerly Wells) - Young's Waggledance5.00GoodNow reduced in strength to 4.0%. Prominent honey flavour in a malty golden ale. My score 15/20.
Sambrook's - Wandle3.80AcceptableMore bitter than Young's bitter. Little malt character. Dry, bitter finish. My score 14/20.
