Very busy! This pub has a wonderful old school town pub vibe, a eclectic mix of customers lots of groups all sitting drinking chatting, with its wall seating benches it gives it that classic pub feel.

Eve of the hop festival, I had a couple of pints with a friend who was staying here before I caught the last train to Ebbsfleet. Unfortunately the forthcoming hop festival meant that we had to have plastic glasses.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Hop Festival4.50ExcellentSuperb, even in a rigid plastic container.

Splendid pub / hotel / restaurant in Preston Street located right opposite the station entrance, with original Victorian bar back, although sadly, the snob screens disappeared a few years ago. 5 handpumps sported on the bar here in banks of 2 and 3.
