I've never been to this pub before. Wasn't it previously called the Cardinal's Cap? Never went to that either. The Blind Dog is a hard one to describe. It's got the feel of an airy coffee shop but the paraphernalia of a bar and the floor of a proper old boozer. I sat on a sofa under a TV which told me some woeful story of English cricket. Still, it was better than sitting in the office.

Stopped off here on the way between Canterbury West and Canterbury East stations. Not too busy with a good relaxed feel about the place. More like a bar than a pub, but still a nice atmosphere. Only one handpump on serving Shepherd Neame Master Brew.

Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70ExcellentDeep copper colour with lasting beige head. Seemed to use quite a tight sparkler to pour this, but it was in excellent condition. Sheps yeast flavour with touch of caramel and bitter green hop finish.

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2PN.

Formerly the Cardinal's Cap situated opposite the Rosemary Lane car park. Reminiscent more of a continental style bar wit lots of nice exposed wood. Usual range of lagers and Guiness with Hoegaarden and 2 handpumps. Newspapers are available to read on the comfy sofas and 2 TVs show Sky Sports

We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
