A good lunchtime trade here. Evidence on the bar of the apparent demise of Brodie's Brewery.

A good early evening trade in this likeable pub. I struck lucky, walking in just as a table was being vacated.

16:30 Another pub not on the plan but one of our party wanted to drink Brodie's beer. A new pub for me. I was very impressed with the glazed panelled bar back. Fairly quiet, apart from a group of four chaps having a session on G&Ts.

A very pleasant evening and most custom is outside on the pavement.

I only really came in here because of the gross over-crowding at the new Craft Beer Co. place nearby – where I just could not get to the bar. Always nice in here and I was happy with the Plan B

Early evening visit. Comfortable and welcoming pub. When I ordered a pint of Kiwi, the barman was good enough to ask whether it was a random choice or whether I knew the beer. Apparently some people don’t like it.
