Just a few in, we chatted to the lady behind the bar about the hotel and the various concessions within which include a burger restaurant, Indian Restaurant and a traditional seaside café. The Cabin Bar remains operated by the hotel.

The pub is found in Deal, Kent, CT14 6HY.

Grand old building in Beach Street, on the sea front, opposite the pier. A large Pub/Hotel affair. Good food menu and good ales too. Sold on by Shepherd Neame then it closed for significant works. Re-opened late July 2015 with 3 concessions operating within the hotel i.e. Pier 1, The Burger Bros and The Tap Room Bar, the latter advertised as selling 12 craft beers on tap. This pub is permanently closed. Closed: July 2023. The hotel’s bar has been converted to a bedroom.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
