1pm. My first visit here and the first stop with fellow scribe Pedro on our LocAle crawl to re-visit some pubs that I've not been too for over 12 months. This pub is a perfect example of a good old fashioned, untouched, local type pub. And run by a couple of old characters too.

The pub is found in Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8JT.

A two-bar local in Milton Street at its junction with the A26 Tonbridge Road, with the rear bar devoted to games. A comfortably furnished main bar at the front has much nautical memorabilia around including a portrait of Admiral Gordon. This is, of course, Rear Admiral Sir James Alexander Gordon KCB who had served with Nelson.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
